I'm a painter, sculptor, and printmaker from Malaga, Spain in 1881. I first visited Paris, the capital of art and culture in 1900, when I was 19 years old, and worked in Paris in earnest from 1904 to the 1940s, and interacted with famous artists such as Henri Matisse and Georges Braque, and was greatly influenced by his work activities. Picasso is also known as the founder of Cubism, which radically changed the way we look at objects during important periods such as the blue-blue era and the rosy age in Paris. The Maidens of Avignon and Guernica are representative works that embody his creativity and social message. His attitude, which has always sought change, extends beyond the art world to various fields such as sculpture, ceramics, literature, and music, and is a deep inspiration for many contemporary artists.
