Use after preparing the skin with lotion, milky lotion, and makeup base. We recommend using it in combination with a UV-protective makeup base such as Maquillage's makeup base. Apply a small amount of foundation to a sponge and spread from the center of the face outward. Use the remaining foundation on the sponge to finish the forehead, eye area, nose, and mouth. If using with water, moisten the sponge with water and wring it out tightly, then gently dab the surface of the foundation. If the amount used is too small, it will not provide sufficient UV protection.

When the sponge gets dirty, the surface of the foundation will become hard and it will not adhere to the skin easily, so please keep it clean. When sponge gets dirty, use 'Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N' (sold separately) or dissolve neutral detergent in lukewarm water and wash lightly. Rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue, then drain and dry in the shade before use. If you find that the texture or finish of the product is not satisfactory, please use the Maquillage Sponge Puff (SF) (sold separately). Please be careful not to break the sponge puff if it is dropped or otherwise impacted.
