We have evolved the carbon fly wrap technology installed in the previous model (G430 series) and expanded the carbon material area from the crown to the sole to further reduce weight. Like other drivers in the same series, it also uses a free hosel design that reduces the weight of the hosel inside the head, and by redistributing the extra weight gained from this weight reduction to the optimal position as a high specific gravity weight, we have created a center of gravity design that produces a high launch angle and low spin.
In addition, Face Wrap Technology, which uses high-strength titanium material over a wide area from the face to the sole and crown, promotes thinning of the face and provides an overwhelmingly high initial velocity. Furthermore, it is equipped with spin consistency technology that stabilizes the amount of spin even when the hitting point fluctuates up and down, suppressing distance loss and demonstrating a stable trajectory even in the event of a mis-hit. The head shape is slightly deeper than the previous model (G430 series), eliminating the feeling of anxiety when using it on the tee shot, making it extremely easy to hold.
The shaft is equipped with PING's original ALTA J CB blue carbon shaft, and the counterbalance design provides a high trajectory ball.
