Equipped with two ESS flagship DAC chips "ES9039SPRO": The K19 uses ESS Technology's next-generation flagship DAC chip "ES9039SPRO" in a dual configuration, and supports PCM768kHz/32bit and DSD512 (Native) playback. "ES9039SPRO" is a top-of-the-line DAC chip that is equipped with 8 channels of DAC circuits per unit and uses the latest Hyperstream IV architecture to achieve even higher sound quality. In order to take full advantage of the performance of the ES9039SPRO, the K19 uses one unit for each left and right channel to achieve distortion-free audio playback with an extremely high amount of information, combining ultra-high output of up to 8,000mW (at balanced output) and ultra-low distortion with THD+N of 0.0002% or less.
Equipped with a newly developed headphone amplifier circuit that delivers high output power of up to 8,000mW: The K19 features high-quality feedforward technology that corrects distortion that occurs during signal amplification, and uses the THX-AAA 788+ architecture, an amplifier circuit technology jointly developed by FIIO and THX, to provide ideal detail and dynamics for headphone playback of any efficiency. Equipped with a total of 4 amplifier circuits per channel, it delivers an ultra-high output of up to 8,000mW (at 32Ω load) per channel.
Fully balanced design for high dynamic range and low crosstalk: The K19's audio circuitry, from the DAC to the I/V conversion, low-pass filter, and headphone amplifier, has a fully balanced design that ensures that differential signals are input to separate circuits for left and right channels. By using high-precision audio-grade operational amplifiers such as OPA2211 and OPA1602 in the main blocks of the audio circuit, it achieves high dynamic range and low crosstalk, enabling high-quality audio playback with excellent signal fidelity.
Equipped with a 31-band high-precision lossless PEQ function to realize convincing equalizer settings: The K19 is equipped with ADI's "ADSP-21565" DSP chip to implement a 31-band high-precision lossless PEQ (parametric EQ) function. "ADSP-21565" is a high-speed processing processor for audio applications that supports 64-bit floating point calculations and achieves a maximum operating clock of 800MHz by incorporating a "SHARC+ core".
Dual femto clock configuration that suppresses jitter to the utmost limit: In order to provide jitter countermeasures befitting a flagship model of a headphone amplifier product with a built-in DAC, the K19 uses two Accusilicon AS318-B ultra-low phase noise clock generators that can suppress jitter to the femtosecond (1/1000 trillionth of a second) class. By using the optimal clock according to the input source from two clock systems, 45.1584MHz and 49.1520MHz, it accurately restores the input audio data and performs D/A conversion that is extremely faithful to the recording.
High-quality digital data processing using quad-core FPGA: The K19 is the first FIIO product to use a quad-core FPGA as the core of digital data processing, and performs high-quality processing of digital data input from USB, RCA coaxial, TOS optical, Bluetooth, ARC, and DSP chips. The input data is precisely processed in the FPGA as a digital audio signal so that the DAC can best demonstrate its true potential, and then transmitted via I2S to two ES9039SPRO DAC chips. By processing digital data using this FPGA, K19 minimizes distortion and loss that occur during the data processing process.
Platform design for separating digital and analog circuits to eliminate mutual interference: In order to completely isolate the digital and analog circuits, the K19 places each circuit on two different boards to eliminate mutual interference that can adversely affect sound quality. Additionally, the DSP module section and digital data processing section are separated by an aluminum alloy, and major circuit blocks such as the DAC section, DSP module section, and headphone amplifier section are shielded to minimize crosstalk and external noise interference.

K19 is the latest flagship model of the desktop audio system "K series". The DAC chip is equipped with two of ESS's latest DAC "ES9039SPRO", achieving high dynamic range and ultra-low distortion characteristics. The newly developed headphone amplifier circuit, which uses the "THX AAA-788+" architecture, achieves an ultra-high output of up to 8,000mW. Furthermore, it is equipped with 31 bands of high-precision lossless PEQ, supporting ultimate sound quality personalization.
